Formed in the winter of 2013 by songwriters Austin Smith and Matt McMahon, with the idea to create a sound similar to indie/folk, with a focus on the piano. Both Matt and Austin feel the piano is a beautiful instrument that isn’t given enough recognition in today’s modern music scene. They quickly realized that they were forming a sound that was both unique and familiar at the same time.
